Biking through the archipelago’s coastal roads and forest trails is the perfect way to experience Saaristo at its purest.
From casual rides along the shoreline to longer island adventures, there’s a trail for everyone. Saaristo is the perfect place to go island-hopping by bike – the numerous ferries connect you to the abundance of islands to explore.
The Archipelago Trail and the Small Archipelago Trail are scenic routes from Turku to the heart of Saaristo and back.
Covering approximately 250 kilometers, the Archipelago trail is connected by a series of ferries and well-kept roads. The shorter Small Archipelago Trail is 110km long.
